The Fake Magazine @ the Violence Project is releasing a video program about the phenomenon of Shadow.
As a kind of alter ego of the “lightâ€, the natural shadow is identified with the dark side of the spotlighted Being, the shadow is used as a metaphor – for the abysses of the soul, in terms of history- the unresolved Past which is accompanying an individual or a whole nation, the shadow is standing for illegality or crime – one is speaking of a shadow economy. Light and shadow are synonyms for the opposites – without light no shadow, without good no evil, opposites of that kind explain the relativity of things and events. The absolute does not exist, only shades of grey.
